SWIMWEAR & BEACHWEAR / HUMAN-LED DESIGN

Swimwear & Beachwear Design, Connected to Product Development.

You may be planning your first collection, preparing a seasonal launch, or bringing finished designs to a manufacturer. Each starting point needs a different kind of support. OYOYI works with your brand to clarify the direction, develop the agreed design work, and identify what needs to be resolved before sampling.

Our design team connects style, color and material decisions with your audience, price positioning and development requirements. Start with a conversation. We agree the scope, deliverables, fees and review stages with you before work begins.

Design projects are manually quoted and handled, no automatic orders.
Approval Note: The design page only introduces research, collection planning, style and visual refinement. Tech packs retain a separate entry; the client dashboard handles project files, confirmations, and delivery progress. Design consultation and trend reports have been split into separate pages. Ongoing projects are communicated offline, with the client dashboard only providing progress feedback and data storage.
WHO WE WORK WITH

Start Where Your Brand Is Today.

A first collection and an established seasonal program do not need the same brief. We assess the work around your existing team, available materials and intended outcome, as well as the scale of your project.

01 / FIRST COLLECTION

Brands Preparing to Launch

You have references and an audience in mind, but may not yet have a clear range of styles or a development brief. We help translate those references into an agreed direction and a manageable selection of products.

START WITH

Brand brief, collection direction, style selection and material priorities.

02 / NEXT SEASON

Growing Brands Planning a New Collection

Your collection needs to feel new without losing what customers recognize. We can review your existing range and feedback, then develop agreed updates, complementary styles and color directions.

START WITH

Previous styles, customer feedback, planned categories and target launch dates.

03 / YOUR DESIGN, OUR SUPPORT

Brands with an In-House Design Team

You already own the creative direction. Bring us a defined task: material direction, style refinement, color variations or clearer design views. Your team retains creative approval.

START WITH

Your design files, unresolved questions and the part of the workflow you want us to support.

04 / SEASONAL PROGRAMS

Established Brands & Private-Label Teams

A larger program needs clear handovers across styles, people and deadlines. We assess the requested seasonal workload, document requirements and approval structure before agreeing capacity and responsibilities.

START WITH

Range plans, style counts, technical standards and your internal approval process.

FROM UNCERTAINTY TO A CLEAR BRIEF

Resolve the Questions Behind the Design.

Too Many References. No Clear Collection.

We discuss what each reference contributes: silhouette, coverage, surface texture, color or detailing. This creates a shared direction for original development rather than an instruction to copy another brand.

The Visual Looks Right. The Details Are Missing.

A rendering may leave the back view, lining, closure or support structure unclear. We clarify the intended visual details with your brand and record which design choices remain open.

Materials Change the Intended Result.

Texture, stretch, opacity and hardware can affect the appearance and construction of a style. We discuss texture, finish and color references alongside the design. Actual material performance is confirmed in a separate development scope.

Revisions Lose Their Context.

Agreed review stages and revision records keep feedback attached to the relevant design. The delivered files distinguish the agreed design version from unresolved design choices.

SERVICE SCOPE

Choose the Work Your Brand Needs.

Commission a focused piece of work or discuss a connected design project. The items below describe possible scope, not an automatic package of included services.

01 / RESEARCH

Trend Research & Brand Direction

Research a defined audience, market or season, then translate the findings into relevant product questions for your brand.

  • Research scope, source references and a distinction between observations and forecasts.
  • Theme, style and color directions with implications for your intended range.

Possible handover: a custom research report and direction presentation.

02 / COLLECTION

Seasonal Collection Planning

Organize individual ideas into a collection with a clear role for each style, from core products to agreed statement pieces.

  • Proposed mix of swimwear and beachwear styles, categories and colorways.
  • Carryover and new-development priorities based on the information you share.

Possible handover: a collection overview and agreed style list.

03 / DESIGN

Style Design & Refinement

Develop selected swimwear and beachwear concepts, or refine your existing designs within a clearly agreed brief.

  • Silhouettes, coverage, neckline, strap and closure details relevant to the agreed styles.
  • Design views and color variations, with the number of concepts and revision rounds defined in advance.

Possible handover: approved design sheets and revision notes in the agreed formats.

04 / MATERIALS

Color, Fabric & Trim Direction

Connect the collection's visual identity to material and component choices that can be assessed for development.

  • Fabric texture, lining, trims and hardware references for selected designs.
  • Color placement and combinations, with physical color and material confirmation identified as separate steps.

Possible handover: a material direction board or reference list with open questions.

Know What You Will Receive Before You Commit.

A Written Scope

Services, style counts, design views, file formats and the information you need to provide.

Direct Team Communication

Discuss direction, feedback, revisions and scope changes directly with your project contact. The website records progress and stores project files.

An Agreed Handover

Approved files, outstanding decisions, usage terms and any separately quoted next steps.

Design services do not automatically include pattern making, grading, physical samples, testing, production, freight or marketing operations. These are separate scopes where applicable.

How We Work

01 / SHARE

Your Brand & Brief

Share your market, references, intended styles and timing.

02 / AGREE

Scope & Proposal

Agree deliverables, fees, revision rounds and usage rights.

03 / REVIEW

Approve & Receive

Approve the agreed design deliverables and receive the confirmed files.

Approved design files can be handed over for separately agreed technical development and sampling.

Before We Start

Can I start with reference images only?

Yes, for an initial discussion. Share what you like about each reference and what you want to change. We will identify the additional brand and product information needed to define a proposal. References do not replace technical specifications.

Can you work with our designers or existing factory?

We can discuss a defined support role alongside your team. Before starting, agree who provides the brief, consolidates feedback and approves the design. Design work does not require you to place a production order with OYOYI.

How are fees and timelines determined?

After a human review of your brief. Research depth, style count, available inputs, deliverable formats and revision rounds affect the proposal. Target launch dates are discussed before we confirm the work; there is no single timeline for every project.

What if I need a different direction after approval?

We assess the request against the agreed scope. Corrections, included revisions and a new design direction are different types of work. Any additional fees or timing changes should be agreed before that work begins.

Who owns the work, and are source files included?

The proposal should specify usage rights, confidentiality, editable files and any third-party material restrictions. Do not assume an inspiration image or purchased research report grants rights to reproduce the products shown.

Tell Us Where Your Collection Stands.

Share your brand, target customer, existing designs and the decision you need help with. Include your intended launch date and budget range if available. We will use the brief to discuss a suitable scope, not to start work automatically.
