Swimwear Pattern Making, Grading and Fit in China
Patterns made from your tech pack or your sketches, graded across your size range and fitted through agreed revisions.
Swimwear fit depends on how the pattern, fabric stretch, lining and support work together. This page explains how pattern making and size grading work with OYOYI, what you provide, and how fit comments become agreed revisions.

Decisions that stay with you
| Decision point | What needs to be clear |
|---|---|
| Fit approval | You review the sample and decide what needs to change. |
| Size range | You confirm the sizes and any plus-size or large-bust needs before sampling. |
| Before bulk production | The approved sample or reference, confirmed specifications, allowed tolerances, packaging requirements, and any unresolved development issues. |
You retain approval of suppliers, spending, material substitutions, specification changes, and shipment release unless specific authority is agreed in writing. Our role is to surface issues, coordinate action, and document decisions, not silently make commercial commitments for your brand.

What can change a pattern
Not every reference style can be produced exactly as shown. Some styles need adjustments because of fabric stretch, lining, support structure, print method, hardware, seam placement, size range, or production tolerance. We review feasibility and explain where sampling confirmation is needed.
Lining, support, stretch recovery, elastic tension, fit, and hardware can change how swimwear performs. That is why final sampling details are confirmed before bulk production.

Common questions
Do you offer pattern making and grading services?
Yes, we provide complete pattern making and size grading services. You can provide your own tech pack, or we can create patterns based on your sketches and reference images.
Do I need a tech pack to start?
No. We can accept hand-drawn sketches, inspiration images, or simple text descriptions to start the project. A tech pack is not required. If you want a clearer file first, you can create a tech pack or submit what you have.
What if my tech pack or size chart is incomplete?
You can still submit it. We can review the file and help identify missing details before sampling, such as unclear fabric composition, unconfirmed Pantone colors, missing logo dimensions, incomplete size charts, unknown trim materials, or construction details that need factory confirmation.
Do you have experience with plus-size swimwear?
Yes, we have extensive experience with plus-size swimwear (XL to 6XL) and can provide solutions for large bust sizes (up to 90E+).
How many fit revisions are included?
One free revision is included in the standard sample fee. Confirm the development scope, sample quantity, revisions, price, and shipping before work begins.
Can you produce modest, athletic or children's swimwear?
Yes. We produce modest styles including high-neck, long-sleeve, skirted and full-coverage; competitive and athletic styles including compression-fit, flatlock-stitched and chlorine-resistant; and children's swimwear.
Can you guarantee that every reference style can be produced exactly?
Not automatically. Some styles need adjustments because of fabric stretch, lining, support structure, print method, hardware, seam placement, size range, or production tolerance. We review feasibility and explain where sampling confirmation is needed.
